Desperate measures and impossible odds are the name of the game in Prison Break, Fox’s Golden Globe-nominated prime-time drama about brothers Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield’s escape from the notorious Fox River State Penitentiary. Two of the show’s veteran writers—Christian Trokey and Kalinda Vazquez—take readers behind the scenes of its production and provide an arresting glimpse at life “on the inside.” This companion book to the popular series also features hand-selected photographs from Director of Photography Fernando Arguelles’s personal collection, revealing how he upped the emotional stakes and intensity of Prison Break’s most explosive moments through dramatic lighting and composition. Filled with insight from the creative team and arresting photography, Prison Break: Behind the Scenes is an inescapable adventure in entertainment that is sure to keep its audience captive.

Prison Break has the dark social hierarchies of Oz and the clever inventions of Escape From Alcatraz.”

Entertainment Weekly

“You'll never know the endless hours of blood, sweat, and, yes, sometimes tears, that went into making this show week after week. Then again, it's not important that you know. What's important is that you were entertained. Enjoy.”
