Fun Fact: Princess Tiana is left-handed because Anika Noni Rose, who voiced the character, is left-handed.

Mulan
Fun Fact: Mulan’s name means “wood orchid” or “magnolia,” so magnolias serve as a running motif in the movie.

Fun Fact: In the film, Blue stands for good, so Jasmine’s normal outfit is blue, whereas Red stands for evil, so her outfit in the climax is red.

 

Princess Belle | Beauty and the Beast

Fun Fact: Belle’s blue-and-white dress and hairstyle were inspired by Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.

Fun Fact: Rapunzel’s hair, at 70 feet long, would weigh approximately 10.4 lbs.

 

Princess Ariel | The Little Mermaid

Fun Fact: There are several shots of Ariel, sitting on a rock, in a pose reminiscent of the “Little Mermaid” statue that sits in Copenhagen harbor.

 

Princess Cinderella | Cinderella

Fun Fact: Cinderella actually loses a shoe three times during the film: when delivering breakfast trays, when running from the ball, and when walking down the steps with the prince after the wedding.

 

Prince Aurora | Sleeping Beauty

Fun Fact: In the traditional Italian version of this fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty is named Princess Aurora. In the German version, she is named Briar Rose. The film incorporates both names by having Princess Aurora use the name Briar Rose while undercover.
