The Art of Dave Seeley

Dave Seeley is an award-winning science fiction and fantasy artist living in Boston. He trained in architecture and fine art, but after ten years as a distinguished architect, he was seduced by the glamour of illustration and derailed his career for the far more immediate gratification of image making. A sense of materials fetishism and a love of spatial atmospherics are evidence that the inner architect is alive and flourishing.

The Art of Blue Sky Studios

Jake S. Friedman is a New York–based writer, teacher, and artist. He is a longtime contributor to Animation Magazine and Animation Mentor, and has also written for Animation World Network, the Philadelphia Daily News, and the Huffington Post. He was an animation artist for Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, and Saturday Night Live. Currently he is an adjunct professor of art and animation at the Roy Disney Studio for Animation Studies at Mercy College in New York City.

Becca Zerkin is a paper engineer who works alongside Matthew Reinhart to create amazing pop-up titles such as Star Wars: A Galactic Pop-Up Adventure, Game of Thrones: A Pop-Up Guide to Westeros, and Transformers: The Ultimate Pop-Up Universe. A former elementary school teacher, Becca is also a reviewer of children’s books for The New York Times Book Review and she serves on the Children’s Book Committee of Bank Street College.

James Waugh is the Director of Story Development at Blizzard Entertainment where he oversees narrative and IP development for Blizzard’s blockbuster franchises. He has contributed creative direction, writing, franchise conceptualization, and development for World of Warcraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, Overwatch, and Heroes of the Storm along with serving as the Lead Writer of StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void, the final chapter of the StarCraft 2 trilogy.
