NYCC 2015 Round-Up

We had so much fun in New York this past weekend! Thank you to everyone who came out to New York Comic Con and stopped by the Insight Editions booth. We loved meeting all of you and seeing all your amazing costumes. Here are some of the highlights of NYCC 2015 for us.

Ultimate Warrior

We had a life-sized bronze Ultimate Warrior statue at our booth. Fans of all types stopped for the ‘ultimate’ photo-opportunity. Ultimate Warrior was even included in IGN’s “The Coolest Things We’ve Seen at NYCC” video.

Ultimate Warrior Cosplay

We even found an Ultimate Warrior cosplayer! If you’re an Ultimate Warrior fan, then you need Ultimate Warrior: A Life Lived “Forever.”

Ghostbusters: The Ultimate Visual History

Ghostbusters Cosplayers

We had the newest book in our line of Ultimate Visual Histories, Ghostbusters: The Ultimate Visual History available first at NYCC. Not only did we get the best group shot of ghostbusters at NYCC, but we had two fantastic book signings with author Daniel Wallace.

Daniel Wallace signing Ghostbsuters

Saturday morning, ghostbusters took to the streets of New York to find the ghostbusters logo at actual filming locations of the original Ghostbusters movie for our Instagram Scavenger Hunt. In one of our favorite photos, a participant cosplayed the Stay Puff Ghost.

@insighteditions #ghostbustersbook got all three!

Assassin’s Creed: The Complete Visual History

Everyone wanted a copy of the new book done in collaboration with Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed: The Complete Visual History! We gave away one special copy each day of NYCC. These copies were signed by the creative team behind the game series!

We saw quite a few Assassins wandering the halls of Javits Center.
