The Sales Account Associate for Custom & Proprietary publishing plays a critical role in driving the day-to-day execution and account management of our custom product offerings. Reporting directly to the Director of Custom Publishing, this role serves as the primary operational liaison for select retail, licensing, and brand partners. The ideal candidate will bridge client needs with internal editorial and production workflows, track data to inform executive strategy, and ensure that custom publishing projects are delivered on time, within budget, and optimized for market success.

Strategic Oversight & Core Responsibilities

• Dedicated Account Management: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for select custom publishing clients, ensuring proactive communication, prompt issue resolution, and exceptional client satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle. 
• Relationship Building: Create, maintain, and foster excellent personal and professional relationships with end-customer buyers as well as all product management staff.
• Proactive Partner Strategy: Assist brand and retail partners with proprietary products, including positioning, configuration, and sales strategy, to help drive sell-through. Continually keep customers up to date on marketing initiatives to drive demand and secure increased placement for custom titles.
• Revenue Operations & Reporting: Track account health, manage the intake and routing of purchase orders, and build reporting tools to monitor pipeline opportunities and project progress. Monitor, report on, and contextualize Point of Sale (POS) data by title and customer to identify performance trends.
• Pipeline & Production Tracking: Monitor project milestones, enforce internal timelines, and track deliverables across editorial, design, and production teams to guarantee on-time market delivery.
• Asset Management: Organize and manage client assets, contract routing, and approval workflows for custom proprietary products.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Forecasting & Operations Integration: Collaborate with operations to provide timely print forecasts by title and account, ensuring accurate print runs for custom orders. Immediately communicate demand opportunities to the operations team and verify product availability before committing to external partners.
• Internal Liaison: Act as the operational bridge between the external client and internal creative/production teams, translating client feedback into actionable tasks.
• Intake Assistance: Support the centralized triage protocol by helping to log, track, and organize inbound partnership and custom product inquiries.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in account management, B2B sales support, or publishing operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts and concurrent project lifecycles.
• Strong understanding of client relationship management, forecasting, and cross-functional team coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of comfort interfacing directly with external brand partners.

• Comfort building highly visual presentations to showcase custom products, alongside data-driven executive reporting, is a plus.

The Print Production Associate assists with book projects from files received to the end of the manufacturing process. They prep and review files, assist clients with technical questions, coordinate with prepress and print vendors to ensure quality control, and archive projects. This specific role would provide support for reprints, stationery & proprietary projects.

Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and problem solve.

Responsibilities:

• File Management: Prepare, preflight, and edit files in Adobe Creative Suite (indesign, illustrator, photoshop, acrobat); pull archived files as needed; archive files when projects are complete.
• Quality control: Review and provide feedback on digital files and printed samples for quality at every stage of production.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Development & Channel Growth

Insight Editions seeks an Editorial Assistant/Production Assistant to provide support to the London-based Insight Workshop team. Our fan-focused publishing /product development programme includes titles from many of the world’s largest pop-culture brands, from Harry Potter to Disney. The role is a great opportunity for an organised candidate to learn the editorial and production process for a global publishing/gift company. The assistant will report to IW management team, working closely with editorial and buying team members within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position and a hybrid role, with 2-3 days a week in our central London office. Experience of licensed publishing would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the IW management team on all aspects of acquisitions and project management including research, concept development, creation of pitch materials and sales copy, writing title outlines, rights & clearance tracking, licensor approval submissions and tracking, updating title information in internal and publisher distribution portals.
• Assist the IW management team on all aspects of Buying. Role Purpose

Own the planning and execution of Insight Editions' DTC ecommerce and digital marketing initiatives. Translate strategy into clear plans and SOPs and deliver launches and campaigns on time with strong site performance. Partner with the Director and eCommerce Coordinator to plan and execute DTC initiatives, with light backend support for TikTok Shop and Faire.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead website optimization initiatives, including homepage updates, navigation, promotional mechanics (such as layaway), and UX improvements, to increase conversion and improve the shopping experience.
• Provide backend maintenance support for TikTok Shop and Faire through Shopify and FileMaker, including keeping product data, pricing, and availability consistent with the DTC site.
• Collaborate with the Director and team to plan and execute DTC and cross-channel priorities, aligning timelines and handoffs so launches reach every channel accurately.
• Own DTC performance across revenue, conversion rate, AOV, and merchandising effectiveness, and report results with clear recommendations.
