General Terms & Conditions

The following terms apply to all orders placed through our online store, insighteditions.com.

The images of the products may differ in color from the originals.

If a product is out of stock or sold out, the customer will be immediately informed. If delivery is temporarily not possible, the order, if possible, will be reserved. In the case of sold-out products, the customer may choose to cancel the order or to be put on a waiting list for a possible reprint or new edition.

In addition to the stated product prices, shipping fees may apply, which can be reviewed at checkout. For international deliveries, the customer is responsible for any additional taxes, customs fees, and import duties. We only deliver by mail.

Currently, our store takes credit cards only.

Your credit card will be charged as soon as you place your order.

You can pre-order items that have an expected shipment date in the coming months.

  • Estimated time frames are indicated on the product detail page and may take several months, potentially arriving sooner or later than estimated.
  • The full price will be deducted the same day in which the order is placed.
  • Pre-order items will be shipped as soon as they are available.
  • If a Pre-order item can no longer be fulfilled, the amount paid will be refunded using the original payment method.

Should articles be delivered with obvious shipping damage, please issue a complaint with the delivery service as soon as possible and contact us within 5 business days. Failure to file a complaint or contact us has no consequences for your legal rights and their enforcement, particularly your warranty rights. They do, however, help us file our own claims against the shipping carrier and/or shipping insurance.

Our liability is limited to the value of the product. We do not assume liability for slightly negligent breaches of insignificant contractual obligations. The liability limitations mentioned above do not apply to attributable bodily injury, illness, or death.

Cancellation Policy

Right of Cancellation

You have the right to cancel orders, without stating a reason, within 14 days.

The cancellation deadline is 14 days from the day you, or a third party appointed by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the final product.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us at customerservice@insighteditions.com.

 

Consequences of Cancellation

If you cancel your order, we are required to promptly refund all payments (excluding shipping costs) we have received from you within 14 days, at the latest, from the day we receive notice of your cancellation of this order. This refund will be made with the same payment method you used in the original transaction; in no case will you be charged in connection with our refund. We are free to defer the refund until the articles have been returned to us or until you have provided us with proof that you have sent the articles to us, depending on which happens first.

Please make sure to include the original packing slip so the return can be identified.

If the content of your order is incorrect, or arrives damaged, you are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, including original shipping costs. You may also opt for a replacement delivery (subject to availability). If you received a damaged item, please contact us at customerservice@insighteditions.com with details of the defect, including pictures if possible.

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any other reason, please note that you will be responsible for the return shipping cost, which is non-refundable. Upon receipt of your return, we will refund the full purchase amount of the returned items. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Where is my order confirmation?

Order confirmation is automatically sent to your email address when your order is placed.

Check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder.

If you left out an email address when you placed your order, you will not receive an email confirmation.

If you have not received your order confirmation within 24 hours, contact us at customerservice@insighteditions.com.

 

How do I make changes to my order?

We are unable to guarantee any changes can be made to your order once we have started processing it.

If you need to update your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible at customerservice@insighteditions.com and we will let you know once we have updated your shipping address.

 

My Order Is a Gift, Can You Put a Blank Invoice With the Package?

Unfortunately, we are unable to remove an invoice or place a blank invoice in the package.

 

How do I cancel my order?

We will do our best to have your order canceled, but we are unable to guarantee any changes.

If we are able to cancel your order, you will receive a confirmation from our Customer Service Team, and your order will be refunded.

If we are unable to cancel your order, we will process your refund for the return. You must first wait for your order to be delivered. Once your order delivers, contact us at customerservice@insighteditions.com to initiate the return your order and receive further instructions.

Once we receive your return, we will process your refund. Refunds take 7-10 business days before showing back in your account.

 

When will my order ship?

All orders are shipped within 2 business days.

If your order has not shipped after 3 business days, please contact customerservice@insighteditions.com and include your Order Number.

 

How do I track my order?

Include your email address with your contact information when placing your order.

You will receive an email notification with your tracking number once your order ships.

Tracking information can also be found by logging in into your account.

If you have not received a tracking number after 3 business days of placing your order, or are unable to locate your tracking number, please contact customerservice@insighteditions.com.

 

My order has not delivered

Check the tracking number you received when your order shipped.

If your tracking number is still showing as still in-transit, it means your order is still on its way.

Please allow for 7-10 business days from purchase to allow for shipping delays, and if your order still has not delivered by then, please contact customerservice@insighteditions.com.

 

My order is showing as delivered, but I do not have it

If the tracking number for your order is showing as delivered, and you did not receive your package, please confirm it is not in your mailroom, by the front door, by the front porch, or any location where packages are delivered to your home.

Do not forget to confirm it is not with your neighbors, as they may have accidentally received your package.

Do you ship internationally? How long will that take?

Yes, we ship internationally. We currently do not ship to Russia and Ukraine.

Most international orders arrive in 10-14 business days. Please note, customs delays and delivery to remote locations may take longer for your package to deliver.

 

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

No, we do not ship to PO Boxes. 

A physical address is required for your order.

Please note, we do not deliver to APO (Army Post Office), FPO (Fleet Post Office), DPO (Diplomatic Post Office).

 

Do you offer expedited shipping?

No, we do not offer expedited shipping, or any alternative shipping options.

 

What shipping carriers do you use?

Our Distribution Center ships via UPS.

Our Customer Service Team ships via FedEx.

 

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account.

We recommend that you create an account so you can review your tracking information, check your order history, have your shopping basket items, and save payment details for future purchases.

 

The Newsletter discount did not work on my order

The Newsletter sign up offer is good for all consumer orders except on Recent Releases, Web Exclusives, Collectible Editions, and Limited Editions.

If you purchased an item that falls into any of the above categories, the discount cannot be applied.

If the item you purchased is not a Recent Release, Web Exclusive, Collectible Edition, or a Limited Edition, please contact customerservice@insighteditions.com.

 

Returns

I received an item as a gift, can I return it?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept a return of an item that was not purchased from our website.

Please contact the person who gave an item to you for a return or exchange.

If they are unable to return or exchange the item, please email customerservice@insighteditions.com and we will attempt to help.

 

I purchased an item from another retailer, can I return it?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept a return of an item that was not purchased from our website.

Please contact the retailer the item was purchased from for a return or exchange.

If the retailer is unresponsive, please email customerservice@insighteditions.com and we will attempt to help.

 

How do I return an item?

Returns are handled through our Customer Service Team, please contact us at customerservice@insighteditions.com.

Items purchased through Insight Editions can be returned within 30 days of purchase. 

Items purchased as a Pre-Order through Insight Editions can be returned within 30 days of the publication date.

Returns must be undamaged, in original condition, with all pieces including, sleeves, belly bands, shrink wrap, etc.

Insight Editions does not accept returns on items after 30 days.

 

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards such as MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

We do not accept payment through Pay-Pal, Venmo, or other application or crypto-based currencies.

 

When do I get charged for my order?

We charge as soon as your order is placed.

 

Damages, Defects, Missing Items

My order is damaged

If an item you ordered is delivered damaged, please contact customerservice@insighteditions.com, with your Order Number, a description of the damages, and a few images of the damages.

 

My order is missing an item

If you ordered multiple items in the same order, and you are missing an item, it may have been shipped separately than the rest of your order.

If you do not receive a separate tracking number for your missing item, please contact customerservice@insighteditions.com.

If your order delivered, but the item you ordered is missing, please contact customerservice@insighteditions.com.

 

My order has a printing error

Visit our Corrections and Errata on our website at https://insighteditions.com/pages/corrections-and-errata

If an item ordered from our website has a printing error, and is not on our Corrections and Errata page, please contact customerservice@insighteditions.com, and provide your Order Number and a few images of the printing errors.

 

I received the wrong item

If you received an incorrect item, please contact customerservice@insighteditions.com with your Order Number, and the 13-Digit ISBN Number of the item you received.

 

I received an item as a gift, can I return it?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept a return of an item that was not purchased from our website.

Please contact the person who gave an item to you for a return or exchange.

If they are unable to return or exchange the item, please email customerservice@insighteditions.com and we will attempt to help.

Go to our website www.insighteditions.com. If you are not prompted immediately, scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your email address where you see "get 30% off * your next order when you subscribe to our Newsletter!".

 

I signed up for your Newsletter but did not receive a discount code

Discount codes are automatically sent to your email address once you sign up.

Check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder in case the discount code has been diverted there.

If you have not received the discount code within one hour, please contat customerservice@insighteditions.com.

 

How do I deactivate my account?

If you would like to deactivate, or delete, your account, please reach out to customerservice@insighteditions.com and request that your account be deactivated.
