Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio

A Timeless Tale Told Anew

Written By: Gina McIntyre, Guillermo del Toro
$495.00
This exclusive collector’s edition features a limited-edition replica Pinocchio maquette that has been personally approved by director Guillermo del Toro, a signature card signed by del Toro, Mark Gustafson, who directed the film with del Toro, and co-screenwriter Patrick McHale, and a special edition of the book with a unique cover by Pinocchio co-production designer Guy Davis. It comes in an exclusive wooden presentation case.

The replica Pinocchio maquette was made under the careful supervision of the filmmakers, who supplied an original filming maquette. This was used to cast a new 1:1 scale mold for the replica, which is made of polyresin over a metal armature. The original sculptors at ShadowMachine personally supervised the painting and approved the model at every stage.

The collector’s edition also includes a limited-edition of the book Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio: A Timeless Tale Told Anew with a unique cover illustration—created by Guy Davis—two exclusive gatefolds, and a wealth of previously unseen insert items. The book and maquette are presented in a bespoke wooden presentation case that features engraved details.

This extraordinary set is limited to 550 pieces, and available exclusively at InsightEditions.com.
