From the bad guys getting Cary Grant drunk in North by Northwest, to Cary lacing his wife's drink with poison in Suspicion, drinks play a big part in the suspense of Alfred Hitchcock’s films. Now, for the first time, you can make drinks inspired by some of Hitchcock’s greatest movies and characters.

Hitchcocktails features more than two dozen handcrafted drinks inspired by characters such as Norman Bates, Uncle Charlie, and the ultimate stranger on a train, Bruno Antony, as well as iconic scenes from early films such as Secret Agent to his final film, Family Plot. Chapters such as Wrong Place Wrong Time, Foreign Climes, and Ice Maidens - with drinks inspired by Hitchcock's iconic blondes and other unforgettable female characters - are accompanied by fascinating information about each film. With easy-to-follow instructions, beautiful full-color photography of the drinks by legendary photographer Joan Marcus, and rare film stills and posters from the movies themselves, Hitchcocktails: Thriller Chillers Based on the Master of Suspense is the perfect addition to any cinema fan’s collection, whether it’s on the bar cart or the bookshelf.
