Liliana Battle, Author: Liliana Battle grew up in a Southern Italian family where the connection of food and family shaped her culinary passion. After appearing on MasterChef Australia, she published her popular debut cookbook Easy Home Cooking Italian Style followed by Food for Sharing and The Sweet Life, celebrating her heritage and recipes passed down through her family. She has catered everything from weddings to thousand person corporate events, but it is cooking for her family that gives her the most pleasure. Liliana is a freelance writer and has featured on Food52, Lifestyle Food, and various other publications as well as her blog Liliana’s Kitchen. She lives in a red dirt-mining town in the northwest of Australia with her husband, two sons, a grumpy King Charles Cavalier and a cheeky golden retriever. Liliana is an avid reader and has a special interest in ancient Rome. When she’s not cooking or writing she dreams of riding a Vespa through the streets of an ancient Italian village with a basket load of fresh produce she picked up from the local market and the wind in her hair.

Stacey Tyzzer, Photographer: Stacey Tyzzer discovered her fascination for photography and art at a young age and completed her BA in Applied Visual Imaging at the age of 21. Originally from New Zealand, Stacey moved to the small mining town of Port Hedland in Western Australia where she established her own business, Locket Photography. She has photographed everything from large public events, weddings, and births and her images are featured in many publications. Stacey met Liliana while photographing Liliana’s cookbook, The Sweet Life, which showcases her passion for food photography (not to mention her sweet tooth). She enjoys the perks that come with being a food photographer, namely being chief taste tester and being able to take containers of leftovers home for her husband Dane. A serious coffee addict and a globe-trotter at heart, Stacey’s aim is to photograph the world one café at a time.
"From Clemenza’s Sunday sauce to traditional meatballs, this is perfect for fans of the beloved film franchise and Italian food."-- International Business Times
