Monika Hinkel, Contributor: Dr Monika Hinkel is a lecturer in Japanese art and part of the Japan Research Centre at SOAS, University of London. She studied Japanese Studies and Oriental Art History at Bonn University. Dr Hinkel specializes in woodblock prints, and has spent time lecturing and researching at various institutions around the world.
Eugenia Nobati, Illustrator: Eugenia Nobati is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she lives with her family, two cats and a dog. Her work has been published in nine countries and more than forty books. She was selected among sixteen illustrators representing Argentina in Bratislava's Bienal 2012. In 2014, she was recognized by ALIJA, Argentina's section of IBBY, for the best illustrated book.
